MACON, Ga. -- GEICO on Monday gave away two Recycled Rides™ vehicles to veterans Frank Massicote and Angel Bolanos in Macon.

This was part of several similar events GEICO has happening nationwide.

Each Veteran was nominated by the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource Center (VECTR) to receive a Recycled Rides™ vehicle.

In his off time, he volunteers his HVAC skills to a local women’s shelter in Warner Robins. Bolanos owns an older Pontiac that frequently breaks down. With no family in the area for assistance, Bolanos uses public transportation or ask friends for rides.

CCS Sponsors Team at Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Race at Daytona International Speedway

Leader in Insurance Claims Showcases Brand on National Stage with First-ever NASCAR Team Sponsorship

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (July 7, 2019)Connected Claim Services, a company that provides solutions for natural disaster remediation, avoided disaster today in the rain-shortened Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway, as the No. 53 Connected Claim Services Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driven by Joey Gase with the Connected Claim Services branding on the hood, came home in the 26th position. Gase avoided several multi-car pileups and threatening weather to bring home the finish.

This weekend's race marked Connected Claim Services' first foray into the NASCAR racing arena. The sponsorship of Joey Gase and the No. 53 team provided an opportunity to build awareness and promote its brand of adjustment services, which offers solutions to businesses and municipalities when a hurricane or other natural disasters hit.

"This was a great opportunity for our team members and our customers to spend time together and experience the excitement and action of a NASCAR Cup Series race," said Barry Barbee, CEO of Connected Claim Services. "It was an honor to work with our partners to sponsor the team and be a part of a thrilling weekend at Daytona International Speedway. NASCAR provides an incredible platform for building brand awareness, engagement, and business relationships.  We look forward to continuing to build upon this powerful platform."

Connected Claim Services provides insurance carriers across the United States with the highest quality adjusting services. The company primarily focuses on properties insured through municipal insurance trusts. "As Florida enters hurricane season, now is the ideal time to help businesses and homeowners prepare for potential damage and their recovery needs through the solutions offered by Connected Claims Services," added Barbee. "And, we included the National Auto Body Council logo on the car, providing visibility for the organization that helps change and save lives through programs that refurbish and donate vehicles to those in need, educates first responders on advanced emergency extrication techniques and creates awareness about the dangers of distracted driving."

Barbee sits on the National Auto Body Council Board of Directors and serves as the organizations Director-at-Large.
